Interactive seminar on research methods

We have developed a new, user friendly and practical course on research methods for all staff (clinical and administrative) based at the NIHR Oxford cognitive health Clinical Research Facility (CRF). This course is specifically tailored to the staff working at our CRF, and it ranges from more theoretical and methodological topics to practical issues  involved in the daily research activity at the CRF.

Teaching is delivered by interactive seminars with group tasks and problem solving, every 1.5 to 2 months. The approach is multidisciplinary, starting with an explanation of core knowledge and building on real world examples to develop skills and confidence. Team members are encouraged to bring questions and research issues to the group. As the programme continues we will be using staff feedback to evaluate the structure and content of the course and develop this further.

The lectures of this course are regularly delivered by a multi-disciplinary staff:

Edoardo G. Ostinelli
Catherine Henshall
Claudia Hurducas
Katharine Smith
Amanda Colston
