SUMMARY:Oxford academic paper writing retreat for nurses
DESCRIPTION:This three-day Academic Paper Writing Retreat is sponsored by the Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre (BRC)\, Oxford cognitive health Clinical Research Facility (CRF)\, the Oxford Institute for Nursing\, Midwiferyand Allied HealthResearch(OXINMAHR) and Oxford BRC. \nIt is open to all nurse researchers at any career stage\, working at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust\, OXINMAHR or Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who have a paper to write up for submission to an academic journal and need time and space to focus on this without interruption. \nWe ask that delegates who attend commit to the full three days (including a Saturday)\, and that you come with a clear writing goal and a specific material outcome that you wish to achieve. It is an expectation that all attendees will have submitted their chosen paper(s) to an academic journal within eight weeks of the retreat. \nThe event will take place at the Department of Psychiatry\, on the Warneford Hospital site\, where space will be provided to write without distraction. Mentor support will be provided. There will be a welcome dinner on Saturday 7th March at Kazbar\, and breakfast\, lunch and refreshments will be provided on all days. \nApply for a place here by 7th February 2020.
