SUMMARY:RCN International Nursing Research Conference 2024
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Royal College of Nursing International Nursing Research Conference will specifically showcase research that addresses the needs of under-served populations. \nThe conference is open to anyone interested in nursing and research. It will be of interest to nurses\, and colleagues in related disciplines\, involved in the development and use of knowledge that impacts on nursing practice or the context in which nurses’ practice. \nPlease note this will be an in-person conference. All presenters are required to register to attend the conference in person to present. \nNew for 2024 – Clinical Research Nursing\nWe are delighted that for the very first time\, this year’s conference will include see day two (Weds 11 Sept) have specific sessions focused on Clinical Research Nursing and are open to all delegates. We hope that this will support learning across nurses who deliver research and will also be of interest to those that lead and design research. SUMMARY:Ketamine and Related Compounds International Conference 2024
DESCRIPTION:Ketamine 2024 is a forum for top researchers and experienced and interested clinicians to learn from each other about the therapeutic use of ketamine and related compounds for affective disorders. \nThis highly anticipated event\, due to take place in Oxford this year has been organised by Dr Rupert McShane\, consultant Psychiatrist at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and University of Oxford Department of Psychiatry\, alongside his colleague Dr Sara Costi\, Wellcome Trust Doctoral Fellow\, and Univeristy of Oxford Department of Psychiatry\, \nSessions will range widely. SUMMARY:NIHR LGBTQ+ Staff Network launch meeting
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce the launch of the NIHR LGBTQ+ Staff Network. The NIHR LGBTQ+ Staff Network is open to all staff working as part of NIHR (such as staff in coordinating centres\, LCRN core teams\, delivery staff in LCRN partner organisations and staff in NIHR infrastructure eg. ARCs and BRCs) who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community or as allies. The focus of the Network has been shaped by many of the 120 people who responded to the expression of interest which went out last year and will include peer support and wellbeing; social and community activities; development and training; LGBTQ+ research inclusion and communications and engagement. \nThe launch meeting for the Network will be held virtually on 7 February from 11am to 12pm\, where the process will start to put together the Coordinating Committee\, share key information about the Network and allow members opportunities to connect with each other. \nIf you are interested in joining the mailing list for the NIHR LGBTQ+ Staff Network and would like to be invited to attend the launch meeting on 7 February and future meetings\, please complete this short form.
