The collaboration is now in its 3 rd year.
During the April 2023 visit, a team of senior leaders spent two days on 13 and 14 April at the Warneford and the Department of Psychiatry, visiting wards and teams, hearing from staff and discussing projects of mutual interest.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr Karl Marlowe said: “It was a fantastic opportunity to sit around a table and hear about how we can learn from one another. Our Canadian colleagues always bring fresh ideas and a healthy challenge to our ways of thinking around clinical care and innovation, and it was a delight to host them. I look forward to taking on the Chair of the Partnership over the next 12 months to further build on the exchange programmes”.
