
Congratulations to eight leading academics affiliated with Oxford Health BRC who have been recognised in Clarivate’s prestigious Highly Cited Researchers 2025 list, which identifies the world’s most influential scientists whose work ranks in the top 1% by citations.
Six of the researchers featured in the 2025 list were also included in last year’s list, highlighting their continued influence in the field.
The researchers are:

- Daniel Freeman – Cross-field
- John Geddes – Cross-field
- Paul Harrison – Cross-field
- Philip McGuire – Psychiatry and Psychology
- Karla Miller – Cross-field (Brain Tech affiliation)
- Peter Scarborough – Cross-field (PMM affiliation)
This recognition reflects the global impact of their research in mental health, neuroscience, and public health.
