The Treatment Resistant Depression Clinic has joined part of a major new national project addressing issues surrounding mental health and illnesses. The project is called the Mental Health Mission.
The Mental Health Mission is an initiative to change the way we think about mental health, mental illness and treatment. It aims to:
- Improve mental health research infrastructure
- Support the development of critically needed treatments across the spectrum of mental illness
- Work with patients, NHS staff, clinicians and innovators to make the UK a leading location for testing and trialling new treatments.
