Use your lived experience to shape our work

18th May 2018

We are looking a patient, carer or public member to join our CRIS Oversight Group.

What is CRIS?

CRIS (Clinical Records Interactive Search) is a software solution that removes information from an electronic medical record that might identify an individual. It then produces a de-identified database that an NHS organisation can use for research.

CRIS allows research and service improvement work to take place that has previously not been possible. Anonymous data from medical records can be very useful for research and can help organisations better understand how care is being delivered.

What is the Oversight Group?

The Oxford Health CRIS Oversight Group meets bi-monthly, with a remit that covers the operational management of CRIS, and promotes the scientific and ethical principles that should govern the use of CRIS.

The Terms of Reference for the CRIS Oversight Group are available here.

About the role

A full description of what the role entails and the experience we are looking for is included in the  role description.

This also explains how to send us your Expression of Interest – the deadline is 5pm on 8 June 2018.

Reimbursement for your time and expenses is available, along with support to help you carry out the role.
