Academic training briefing session for NMAHPs

If you are a Nurse, Midwife or Allied Healthcare Professional (NMAHP) at Oxford Health and would like to find out more about opportunities to enhance your academic training, you are invited to attend a short in person or online information session.

Aim of the session:

  • Details of Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre (OH BRC) supported avenues for developing NMAHP clinical academic training pathways including conducting research
  • Details of a potential new funding stream for Doctoral level support that may be available from 1 October 2024 subject to approval of an application submitted to the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR)
  • BRC NMAHP support to date has been focused on Oxford Health NHS FT employees but Doctoral opportunity may be extended to OUH employees plus employees of Oxford Brookes University subject to contracting details being resolved.
