Adaptive Innovative Methods (AIM) Launch

Thursday 16 July at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

AIM is a new NIHR Biomedical Research Centre: Oxford Health digital community designed to support innovation in psychological treatments for children, adolescents, and young adults.

We believe young people deserve better mental health support.  This means treatments that are not only evidence-based, but also more effective, more accessible, and more acceptable within the realities of their lives.

Our focus is on making that a reality by identifying and targeting modifiable mechanisms maintaining mental health issues in young people.

AIM is a digital community aiming to build better treatments through:

📚 A searchable library of practical, validated measures of psychological mechanisms

📍Guidance and resources to support the development, evaluation and implementation of mechanism-based interventions.

🎙️A series of seminars showcasing work that exemplifies this approach to treatment innovation.

👥👥Importantly, AIM is not just a repository but a community. We want to bring together clinicians, researchers, and those with lived experience to share knowledge, inform innovation, and ensure that new approaches are meaningful and usable in practice.

🗓️We would be delighted if you could join us at the launch event to learn more about the platform, how it can support your work and ways to join this growing community.
