IF Oxford Science and Ideas Festival – Tech Works

IF 2023

IF Oxford captures interest in ‘science and ideas’ topics through educational projects and its quality October Festival. Events and long-term community programmes develop meaningful skills while sharing the positive impacts of innovation. Authentic connections with public audiences at the Festival increase science confidence and trust among adults and families in many venues across Oxford.

IF Oxford is a high-profile opportunity for people to explore innovative ideas and creative research. Combining science, technology, engineering and mathematics with arts, humanities and culture, IF Oxford brings together researchers, authors, creative professionals and community groups to share imaginative and thought‑provoking ideas with large public audiences across a number of public events taking place throughout October.

One of the events taking place as part of the 2023 festival is the Tech Works festival zone.  

Visit Oxford Works and meet the experts at the heart of science and innovation in the city. Activities at the tech works festival zone  include:

Have a go at cutting-edge science. Become a trainee surgeon and try your hands at surgery to discover more about the exciting research from two global medical research groups right here in Oxford.
