National Paediatric Translational Research Conference

The NIHR Great Ormond Street Hospital Biomedical Research Centre (NIHR GOSH BRC) Paediatric Excellence Initiative and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity are hosting the inaugural National Paediatric Translational Research Conference, in collaboration with Great Ormond Street, Alder Hey, Birmingham and Sheffield Children’s Hospitals.

About the conference:
The inaugural conference will showcase innovative research, emerging technologies and collaborative approaches that are shaping the future of child health. The event focuses on four key themes: advanced therapeutics; genomic medicine and -omics; data, AI and devices; and therapeutic safety and efficacy. Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from leading experts, exchange ideas, and connect with researchers, clinicians, trainees, charities, and industry partners from across the UK paediatric research community.

A dedicated half-day programme designed and led by paediatric Early Career Researchers (ECRs), offering opportunities to:
- Present and discuss research
- Connect with peers and senior researchers

Welcome Reception and Networking Dinner | Thursday 15 October evening
Delegates are invited to attend a welcome drinks reception at the Sheffield Winter Garden, followed by a networking dinner at the Millennium Gallery, providing opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the paediatric researchlandscape.
