NIHR Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) Showcase

The NIHR GOSH BRC is a collaboration between Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. We are the only NIHR-supported Biomedical Research Centre solely focussing on paediatric research and founders of the Paediatric Excellence Initiative (PEI).  The PEI includes new collaborations with children’s hospitals across the UK (Alder Hey, Birmingham, and Sheffield Hospitals), through which we aim to transform the health of children, and the adults they will become.

The event will feature rapid fire presentations from all our NIHR BRC themes:

• Accelerating Novel Therapies
• Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine
• Gene, Stem and Cellular Therapies
• Genomic Medicine
• Applied Child Health Informatics

We have given significant space to:

• early career researchers to share their work
• patient, public and participant contributors to share their experiences
• networking space to talk to other researchers, and interact with some of the tech’ we are researching
