The Future of Attachment

Thursday 14 May at 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Are you a researcher, clinician or educator working with young children and mental health? The Centre for Developmental Adversity and Resilience (CeDAR) and Social AI group at the University of Glasgow are hosting a free event to discuss “The Future of Attachment”.

On Thursday 14 May, from 1pm to 5pm at the Birdie Library (University of Glasgow, Student Union building), the afternoon will include two short presentations followed by group discussions on current clinical practice and how digital tools might support attachment assessment.

Speakers include:
– Professor Helen Minnis – A brief history of attachment and attachment measures
– Professor Alessandro Vinciarelli – How AI can impact digital health assessment, including attachment

We will also host interactive workshop discussions where participants can share perspectives on how attachment is understood and assessed in clinical practice, and explore possibilities for digital support tools.

Please email michael.saiger@glasgow.ac.uk or Yara Aleid yara.aleid@glasgow.ac.uk to confirm attendance.
