NIHR Bitesize Webinars: Support for Personal Award Applicants

The NIHR Academy, in collaboration with the NIHR Research Support Service (RSS) Specialist Centres for Public Health and Social Care, is hosting a series of short webinars designed to support individuals applying for NIHR Personal Awards—Predoctoral, Doctoral, or Postdoctoral.

These sessions offer practical guidance on the application process, including writing a narrative CV, developing training plans, costing, public involvement, and securing academic support. Attendees will also hear directly from current award holders about their experiences.

Who should attend?
Anyone working in local authorities or voluntary sector organisations in public health or social care who is interested in or preparing to apply for an NIHR Personal Award.

The webinars are open to all potential applicants and provide direct access to the NIHR Academy Awards team and RSS methodologists for advice and Q&A.
