World Sleep Day at the John Radcliffe Hospital
Friday 15 March 2024 at 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

To celebrate World Sleep Day 2024, researchers in the University of Oxford Experimental and Clinical Sleep Medicine team are joining forces with the clinical sleep team based at the John Radcliffe Hospital, on the ground floor of the West Wing, to run a day of activities and workshops for staff and the public.
There will be a wide variety of activities, ranging from quizzes that aim to combat sleep myths and live polysomnography recording, to artwork that focuses on dreaming.
The team have prepared posters about why we sleep, and how to sleep better, as well as fun workshops. These involve making plasticine brains, and testing reaction time compared to how sleepy you are.
The team hopes to promote awareness about the importance of sleep through an engaging and exciting event.
