EDI Lunch & Learn – How can the Equality Act inform health and care research?

The Equality Act 2010 plays a vital role in shaping fair and inclusive healthcare research — yet its relevance is not always widely understood.

In this online session, Mili Kalia, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager, Oxford BRC, and Angeli Vaid, Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Training and Inclusion Manager, Oxford BRC, will explore the key principles of the Act and discuss how they apply to research environments and practices.

Whether you’re new to the topic or looking to deepen your understanding, this is a great opportunity to learn how equality legislation can (and should) inform the way we design, conduct and evaluate healthcare research. Join us online via Microsoft Teams.
