Meeting Minds September 2025

Meeting Minds brings together alumni and academics for stimulating panel discussions, tours of hidden Oxford treasures, and the chance to reconnect with fellow alumni and the University.

Over three days, you can dive into sessions on the topics that are shaping the world we live in today, alongside opportunities to meet with your fellow alumni and visit colleges and departments.

Highlights for the weekend include:

  • An opening reception on Friday night, featuring the University’s Chancellor The Rt Hon Lord Hague of Richmond
  • Academic sessions on Saturday, covering Oxford’s world-leading research in topics as diverse as the science of the body clock, a life in music, and the potential of superconductors to save the planet
  • Workshops and music recitals
  • Opportunities to visit various colleges and departments, along with Oxford’s gardens, libraries and museums

Our BRC Flourishing and Wellbeing Theme Lead Prof Ilina Singh will be speaking about Agile Sprint at the event on Saturday morning Sept 20.

Venue(s):

Friday: Our opening lecture and drinks reception will be at the Weston Library

Saturday: Meeting Minds HQ is the Mathematical Institute, Woodstock Road, OX2 6GG. Sessions take place there as well as at colleges and departments across Oxford.

Sunday: A reception desk will be available at the Weston Library, Broad Street, Oxford OX1 3BG. Tours will take place across Oxford.
