NIHR Fellowship Application Day (FAD)

Applying for a fellowship is becoming increasingly competitive. We have developed the Fellowship Application Day to give attendees the information they need to improve the quality of their application and make sure that it is focused on what NIHR and their reviewers are looking for.

The Fellowship Application Day is held online. Content is delivered through:

  • Presentations

  • Panel discussions

  • Q&A sessions

Who should attend?

Health care, public health, social care and other local authority practitioners, and academics, considering an application to the doctoral or advanced level NIHR fellowship programmes in the 12 months following the event.

Topics covered include:

  • What makes a good training and development plan

  • What makes a good host institution

  • What makes a good fellowship project
