What we Carry: Living with Pain
Saturday 16 May at 8:00 am - Saturday 27 June at 5:00 pm

What We Carry is a collaborative art-science project led by artist Marysa Dowling , OH BRC, the University of Oxford and the Chronic Pain Neurotechnology Network+.
It uses photography and creative expression to make the invisible experience of chronic pain visible.
By helping people articulate what is often misunderstood or difficult to verbalise, the project offers a powerful platform for exploring the emotional and social dimensions of living with pain.
The What We Carry:Living with Pain in person exhibition will continue at the Churchill Hospital from 16th May – 27th June 2026.
