Trouble sleeping? Low mood or depression?
At the University of Oxford Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences, we are looking for volunteers, who have sleep problems and experience low mood to take part in our research.
Our aim is to determine how a behavioural treatment for poor sleep, called sleep restriction therapy, changes your sleep patterns and your mood.
The study is suitable for adults aged 18-65 years who have persistent problems getting to sleep and/or staying asleep and experience feelings of low mood.
The research involves following a personalised sleep schedule, monitoring your sleep with an actiwatch for 6 weeks, completing daily sleep diary and mood assessments, and wearing an EEG device on your forehead during your sleep for 10 nights to measure your brain waves during your sleep.
You will be compensated for your time and effort for taking part.
